I also serve as the Assistant Director on the board of another small rural library. I am also a fire spinner and belly dancer, knitter, cook, and collector of floaty pens! I love reader’s advisory and reference work. Making connections with my patrons and learning something new about them is one of my favorite parts of my job! Creating a library that is also a multipurpose community space for exploration and learning is so important, especially in our small island communities. Badass librarians.
